Charm Stolen
A Boca Raton woman called police April 14 to report her car had been broken into and a gold charm was stolen. Police said they found no signs of forced entry.
Trees Vandalized
Boca Raton police said a woman contacted them April 14 to report vandalism to her three palm trees and a mailbox. She said someone made slash marks on the trees and smashed the mailbox with an unknown object, police said.
Radio Taken
Boca Raton police said a man came to the station April 14 to report that his $250 satellite radio was stolen from his car while it was parked in a lot on NW Second Avenue. Police found no signs of forced entry.
Domestic Battery
A Boca Raton man was arrested just before 2:30 p.m. April 14 for allegedly battering his wife, police said. According to a report, the man held his wife down in a parking lot, scratched and slammed her. The suspect was taken to the police station for processing and then to the county jail.
Burglary Report
A Boca Raton woman told police someone entered her boyfriend’s car while it was in her possession April 14. The intruder stole a $1,000 laptop computer and an $800 navigation system, said police.
Cord Cut
Boca Raton police report that someone entered the laundry room of a residential complex on NE 20th Street and cut the power cord to the money-changing machine.
Warrant Arrest
Boca Raton police arrested a man just before 7 p.m. April 14 on an outstanding warrant for violation of the conditions of release on a burglary charge. He was taken to the county jail.
Shoplifting Incident
Boca Raton police said a man entered the convenience store of a local gasoline station about 9 p.m. April 14 and stole two cellular telephone cases worth about $10 each. The clerk saw the man leave the store. He said he was about 40 years old and wearing a blue jacket, police said.
