Handgun Stolen
A handgun was reportedly stolen from a brown leather bag at a Boca Raton restaurant, said police, who received the theft report on April 14.
Withheld Information
Boca Raton police arrested a suspect April 14 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and withholding information from his doctor to get two Alprazolam prescriptions within 30 days, police said. The suspect was taken to the county jail.
Alleged Flasher
Boca Raton police said a naked man exposed himself to two female juveniles riding their bicycles in Golden Fig Park on NW 7th Avenue about 4:05 p.m. April 27, police said. The girls told police the man got out of a purple car, walked to the front, then got back in the car and left. Anyone with information about the incident or similar crimes is asked to call the Investigative Service Bureau at 561-338-1264.
House Break
A Boca Raton man told police April 14 that someone entered his house through a front window and stole a DVD recorder and two DVD/VCR players, police said.
Business Entered
Boca Raton police received a report that two businesses in the same block of Yamato Road were entered via an air conditioner unit on the roof. The intruder then kicked a hole in a firewall that separates the businesses, police said. Cash from the registers at both businesses were taken, police said.
Pills Stolen
A Boca Raton woman told police someone stole 18 xanax pills from her prescription bottle between April 13 and April 14, police said.
Door Damaged
Boca Raton police report receiving a complaint from a resident April 14 saying someone damaged the rear sliding glass door of his home. Police said no one entered the house.
Lost Wallet
A Boca Raton man told police April 14 that he lost his wallet on NW Second Avenue several days earlier, police said. It contained his driver’s license and $20 in cash, said police.
