Deadbolt Drilled
A Boca Raton man told police March 21 that someone drilled through the deadbolt lock on his door to gain entry to his apartment. A handgun and a digital camera were taken, said police.
Business Entered
A business on NW First Avenue in Boca Raton was broken into by someone who smashed the glass in the door, police said. Nothing was taken, said the report.
Saw Stolen
Boca Raton police said a table saw was removed from the west pool area of a fitness center in Boca Raton. The incident was reported March 21. The saw is valued at $1,300, said the owner of the saw, the operator of a rental business.
Lights Broken
Boca Raton police said an unknown suspect vandalized two floodlights at the entrance of the Clubside community in Woodfield Country Club. Police estimated damage at $300 per light.
Stolen Purse
A Boca Raton woman told police her black Coach purse was stolen while she was at a local club in the early morning hours March 21. Inside, she said, were a cell phone, wallet and driver’s license. A friend also had her camera, cell phone, keys and driver’s license in the bag, police said.
Threatening Calls
A resident of Boca Raton told police March 21 that he has been receiving threatening phone calls from a woman in New York that he said he had a “friendly relationship” with until the past year. He said the woman has called his friends and relatives and left threatening voicemail messages, said police.
Lost Purse
A Boca Raton woman told police she lost her purse at a local dining spot March 21. The bag contained her cell phone, driver’s license and $10 in cash, police said.
SUV Entered
A Boca Raton woman told police her SUV was burglarized. A suspect smashed the right side rear passenger window and removed a $500 stereo and an $1,100 DVD player.
