Drug Charge

Boca Raton police arrested a man just before 2 a.m. Feb. 15 and charged him with possession of 1.2 grams of crack/cocaine and possession of paraphernalia, police said.  He was taken into custody on St. Andrews Boulevard, said the report.  The suspect was taken to the county jail.

Cupids Damaged

A Boca Raton woman told police Feb. 15 that someone broke the heads off two concrete Cupid statues at the end of her driveway, according to police.

House Vandalized

Boca Raton police received a report Feb. 14 from a local resident who said his home was vandalized.  The man said a window was broken, a screen was removed and the window was forced open, said police.

Brothers Arrested

Boca Raton police arrested two brothers for allegedly trespassing after warning at a North Federal Highway bar, police said. They were released, police said, but five minutes later, were seen back on the property. The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. Feb. 14, said police.

Egg Throwers

Boca Raton police said two juvenile threw eggs at a local home on Feb. 13.  Police said the incident stemmed from a dispute between two families. The report said the parents of both egg throwers made their children clean up the mess.  The victim chose not to prosecute, police said. 

Laptop Taken

Boca Raton police said someone entered an unlocked car and removed a laptop computer and a tot bag containing a wallet with $2,000 inside, police said. The incident was reported Feb. 14, said police.

Theft Reported

A couple staying at a Boca Raton hotel told police Feb. 14 that someone entered their room while they were at dinner with friends and removed a bag containing several pieces of jewelry valued at $5,200, police said.  The couple also reported the theft of two checkbooks, police said.
