Boca Raton police arrested seven subjects this past weekend in three separate cases, said Public Information Officer Sandra Boonenberg.

About 2:30 a.m. March 1, officers observed three subjects circling the parking lot near Town Place Suites on NW 53rd Street.  Police said they were unable to provide a reasonable explanation for their activity and were found to be in possession of flashlights and window punches.

The suspects, Antwon Tynes, 22 and Ivan McDonald, 21, both from Broward County, were charged with loitering and prowling.

Three bags were stolen out of the trunk, which contained CDs, personal checks and other miscellaneous items, police said. The witness then followed the suspect vehicle to NW 2nd Avenue where they were arrested.  A two-way radio and burglary tools were discovered in the vehicle, police said.

Arrested were Guido Gastilla, 37, of Miami and Duilly Tinjaca, 19, of New York City, said police.

In the third incident reported March 2, two juveniles were arrested just after 3 a.m. after a witness reported seeing the subjects attempting to open car doors on SW 17th Street, police said. Officers found the juveniles inside a vehicle as the alarm was sounding.

Police said they confirmed that the juveniles entered three cars and attempted to get into another eight vehicles.
