Armed Robbery
Boca Raton police obtained warrants Feb. 22 for two suspects accused of armed robbery at the Walgreen’s on SW Second Avenue last May 20.
The suspects were identified by police as Gerald J. Joshua, 27, of Fort Lauderdale and Micah Q. Williams, 25, of Coral Springs.
Public Information Officer Sandra Boonenberg said the suspects were arrested in December 2007 by Broward Sheriff’s Office and charged with similar crimes committed in multiple jurisdictions in Broward County.
As a part of the investigation, she said, BSO detectives drove Joshua around Broward and Palm Beach counties. During the drive, the report said, he identified the Walgreen’s on SW Second Avenue in Boca Raton as a place he had robbed.
Police said Williams was also implicated in that heist.
Cracked Windshield
A motorist told police Feb. 12 that as he drove along Dixie Highway, a rock was thrown from beneath a lawn mower and it struck and cracked his windshield, police said. He reported the damage to the company that employs the mower operator, police said.
Fence Damage
A Boca Raton resident told police Feb. 12 that someone damage a portion of the fence around the apartment complex where he lives, police said.
Credit Fraud
A Boca Raton man told police Feb. 12 that someone has been using his credit card number to make online purchases.
Home Ransacked
A resident of Boca Raton told police Feb. 12 that someone entered her house and removed frozen food, paper towels, toothpaste and family photos, police said.
Graffiti Report
Boca Raton police are investigating a report of vandalism to a Verizon Wireless storage compound on North Dixie Highway. Police said someone spray-painted graffiti on the interior walls.
Locker Burglary
A Boca Raton resident told police Feb. 12 that his locker at a fitness center was entered. The third stole $200 in cash, a credit card and a watch, police said.
