Urns Stolen
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s
help in recovering more than 500 flower urns taken sometime Jan. 12
or 13 from a cemetery at 10th Avenue North and Kirk Road in Lake Worth.
Cemetery officials said the urns weight 15 to 22 pounds each, and
are valued at a total of $60,000. PBSO investigators said they believe
thieves took the urns to sell for scrap.

Wallet Taken
A Boca Raton man told police that someone stole his wallet from his
car Jan. 6. Also taken were a cell phone and a watch. He said the
wallet contained identification, credit cards and money, according
to police.
Grand Theft
Boca Raton police arrested a 20-year-old man Jan. 6 and charged him
with grand theft. A report said he stole jewelry, gift cards and two
wallets from a friend’s car.
Sunglasses Stolen
Two women entered the Sunglass Hut in the Town Center at Boca Raton
mall about 1:20 Jan. 6 and stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $300,
police said. The women were last seen walking toward Macy’s,
police said.
Trucks Burglarized
The owner of an air conditioning company told Boca Raton police Jan.
6 that two of his trucks were burglarized sometime between Jan. 5
and Jan. 6, police said. The padlocks were cut with bolt cutters,
he said, and several power tools were stolen. Police said they were
valued at $300.
Purse Theft
Boca Raton police received a report Jan. 6 that a car parked on Military
Trail was burglarized Jan. 6. The passenger side window was smashed
and a black purse was stolen. Police said it contained two debit cards,
a Social Security card, driver’s license, checkbook, deposit
slips and cell phone.
