Neighbors Fight
Boca Raton police reported that two neighbors got into an argument about
12:35 p.m. on Dec.14. Police said one of them spit in the other man’s
face and then threatened to kill him, the report said.
Attempted Fraud
Boca Raton police received a report from a local bank branch Dec.
14 claiming that an attempted fraud took place. A bank official said
two suspects came into the bank and attempted to withdraw $1,500 from
the account belonging to a woman who lives in Gainesville, police
said.
Pool Vandalism
A resident of Walnut Terrace in Boca Raton reported to police Dec.
14 that someone entered his rear patio and replaced his swimming pool
chemicals with water. The suspect also stole a new pool brush and
replaced it with an old one, police said.
Cameras Taken
A Boca Raton woman told police Dec. 14 that someone stole two cameras
from her company located on Clint Moore Road. The thief also took
$200 from her purse, she told police.
Lost Wallet
A Boca Raton resident told police Dec. 14 that he lost his black
wallet either at his apartment or during a visit to a nearby gasoline
station, police said.
Shoplifter Reports
Boca Raton police arrested a woman for shoplifting at Publix on SW
Second Avenue about 6:05 p.m. Dec. 14, a report said. She was released
with a notice to appear in court.
About 90 minutes later, police said, a man stole two cans of beer
from the Publix on South Federal Highway.
Public Drinking
Boca Raton police arrested a man about 7:45 p.m. Dec. 14 and charged
him with consuming an alcoholic beverage in a public place –
in violating of a Boca Raton city ordinance. He was reportedly drinking
in front of the Fresh Market on West Camino Real.
