ELEANOR M. CAHILL
BOCA RATON

Eleanor M. Cahill, 90, of Boca Raton, went home to God on January 28, 2008. A woman of great faith and strength, she served as President to the Alleluia Club, and was a valued member of the Columbiettes at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton. She moved to Florida from her beloved Chicago, Illinois, in 1966, and was the owner / operator of the Aloha by the Sea Apartments in Hollywood until moving to Boca Raton in 1980. She was predeceased by husbands John Cahill and Ray C. Thompson, and is survived by daughter Nancine Thompson (Timothy Schrader) granddaughters Summer Rae Schrader and Vanessa Michele Salmon Kaplan, great grandson Leo Valentine Kaplan, Stepsons James (Mary Beth) Cahill, John (Regina) Cahill, Thomas (Joan) Cahill, 13 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. Gramma has been a constant source of strength and inspiration to all who know her, and will always be our angel. Visitation was held at Babione Funeral Home East (561) 395-8787 on Thursday. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Boca Raton today, Friday Feb. 1, 2008 at 11 AM. Internment at Boca Raton Cemetery to follow.
