Pollye Gilbert, 76 of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 5:00 PM at Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton, FL. She was born in Fonde, KY and grew up in Jefferson City, TN, the daughter of Ed and Laura Morgan. She had three sisters, Marion, Helen, and Fannye, who has preceded her in death. Pollye is survived by her husband of 54 years Gordon J. Gilbert of Boca Raton, a daughter Sandi Stafford (Ronnie) of Somerville, TN, a granddaughter Melissa Ferge (Kevin) of Somerville, TN and three great-grandchildren, Vivian, Dalton, and Morgan. Pollye was employed by the City Of Boca Raton for 23 years as a Gate Attendant at Red reef Park. Her friendly manner and personality radiated from the time the public met her. Her family will miss her loving ways of always putting family and friends foremost in her daily life. Family will be receiving friends Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Babione Funeral Home East (561) 395 8787 from 3 to 5 PM, Memorial service to follow. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, 1801 N. Ocean Blvd. Boca Raton, FL 33432
