There are more than 7,000 persons in Palm Beach County living with
HIV/AIDS.
“World AIDS Day, Saturday Dec. 1, is a good way to remind all
that the epidemic continues throughout the world and in our community,”
said County Health Department spokesman Tim O’Connor.
A number of organizations, churches and the Palm Beach County Health
Department have planned numerous activities to help generate awareness
and encourage people to be tested for HIV/AIDS, said O’Connor.
Events begin Friday, Nov. 30 and continue through Dec. 7, as follows:
