Haitian Citizens Police Academy begins

The Delray Beach Police Department began its 13th Haitian Citizens Police Academy June 4.
Classes will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9 through Aug. 20 at the Delray Beach Police Department, 300 West Atlantic Avenue. The academy is free and open to Delray Beach residents 18 year of age or older.
Instructors will educate academy attendees on the operations of the Delray Beach Police Department. To register or for additional information, contact Officer Andy Arena at (561) 243-7873. Seating is limited.
