FROM STAFF REPORTS
The final piece of the Achievement Centers 2007 name change recently took place with the launch of a newly designed website.
The site features bright colors, graphics and photographs that fit with other material.
The new site now highlights the Center’s various programs, historical information, upcoming events as well as a video. In addition, guests can inquiry about enrollment or volunteer opportunities.
The Achievement Centers Foundation staff did the design in-house. The website can be viewed at www.delraychild.org.
Flying Pig Ranch, a video and audio production company located in South Florida, was instrumental in helping the Achievement Centers coordinate the design and launch of the new website. In addition, Flying Pig Ranch is donating the web hosting for the Center.
“We are extremely grateful to Flying Pig Ranch for all the help and direction in getting our new website launched,” said Stephanie Seibel, executive director of the Achievement Centers Foundation. “When we started this project, we had no idea of the complexities involved.”
In 2007, Flying Pig Ranch donated its services to produce a PSA to announce the Achievement Centers’ name change. In addition, they donated video editing and professional audio recording equipment to the Achievement Centers’ teen program.
“We’ve come full circle with the Achievement Centers,” said Ray Smithers, a partner. “We started on the journey of the name change by producing a PSA and we helped complete the cycle by launching the last piece—the new website.”
