BOCA RESORT & CLUB
Romantic getaway weekends are popular ways to celebrate Valentine’s
Day.
Don’t have the time, money or flexibility to jet off to Paris
for a romantic Valentine’s Day weekend? Well, we can’t
all be Brad and Angelina.
Even without the Champs-Élysées or the Eiffel tower,
you can still plan a lovely Valentine's Day vacation by choosing a
weekend getaway.
In a recent survey of more than 1,000 Americans by Hilton Hotels
Corporation, people were asked the idea of the ideal Valentine's Day
gift. An overwhelming 89 percent responded "vacation trips."
If you agree there's nothing as romantic as a night spent in a special
place to celebrate Valentine's Day, check out some extraordinary Valentine's
Day packages for lovers.
Whether you're a married couple, a pair of honeymooners, a new boyfriend
and girlfriend, or about to become engaged, you could find magic and
excitement awaiting you this Valentine's Day.
For example, at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, the popular Romance
Package is ideal for couples who want to treat themselves to a luxurious
romantic retreat. The package includes deluxe accommodations, a bottle
of champagne and specialty chocolates upon arrival, the signature
ritual bath and a soothing massage at the renowned Spa Palazzo and
daily continental breakfast at the Cathedral Dining Room.
You can also choose to stay in bed and have breakfast served in your
room. The Resort’s Spa also offers couples massage.
Other interesting Valentine’s Day packages include a stay at
the luxurious Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pa., where chocolate is not
just a treat to eat.
Hershey Kisses
A whirlpool soaking tub with whipped cocoa bath, a chocolate mud hydrotherapy
or a Hershey rain shower are just a few of the sweet treat chocolate
choices available at the Spa at the Hershey-themed resort. Of course
there will be “kisses” on your pillow.
Fantasy Inn in Lake Tahoe, Calif., offers romantic couples a trip
back to the times of Romeo and Juliet or Antony and Cleopatra with
15 different themed suites. Every room comes complete with in-room
whirlpool spa for two.
Also noted in the Hilton Hotels Survey, 86 percent of couples chose
"special dinners" as the perfect way to spend Valentine's
Day. If love is on your menu, you can easily incorporate well-known
aphrodisiacs such as oysters, onions, caviar and champagne-- viewed
as the “drink of love,” into your Valentine’s Day
dinner.
Looking for Valentine’s Day dessert ideas? Think chocolate,
as in chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate truffles, chocolate
fondue and chocolate heart-shaped cookies.
Every year on Feb. 14, chocolate, flowers and gifts are exchanged
between loved ones in on Valentine’s Day. This year, a romantic
getaway may be the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for both of
you.
